Deij Transport B.V. was founded in 1989 by Arno and Annelies Deij and has grown into a reliable partner in temperature-controlled transport between the Netherlands and Italy.
Delivering goods in the right condition, always and everywhere
That is the motto with which Deij Transport has developed into a flexible organisation. It calls for a precise approach to planning every transport. We achieve this with an enthusiastic team: staff in the office and drivers on the road.
Our history
1989Founded in Vianen
Arno and Annelies Deij found Deij Transport in Vianen. Arno starts out as an owner-driver, transporting vegetables to Germany.
1996Move to Schoonrewoerd
The company moves to Schoonrewoerd. Its trucks now drive to Germany, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and Romania, among others.
1998From the road to planning
Arno stops driving and starts planning the trucks full-time from the office.
2003New premises in Schoonrewoerd
Deij Transport moves from Kortgerecht 32 to Kortgerecht 28 in Schoonrewoerd.
201425 years of Deij Transport
Deij Transport celebrates its 25th anniversary.
2015Move to Geldermalsen
Deij Transport moves to its current premises on De Iepenwei in Geldermalsen.
2024Part of the DEWA Group
Deij Transport joins the partnership of Jan Deckers and Jan de Waal. Together the companies expand their network in the flower, plant and fresh produce sector. Deij Transport remains independent under its own name.

2025Takeover of Bakker's Italy transport
