A family business with a clear course
Deij Transport B.V. was founded in 1989 by Arno and Annelies Deij in Vianen. Driven by a passion for transport, the company has grown into a reliable partner in temperature-controlled road transport between the Netherlands and Italy. Our home base is in Geldermalsen.
1989Founded in Vianen
Arno and Annelies Deij found Deij Transport in Vianen. Arno starts out as an owner-driver, transporting vegetables to Germany.
1996Move to Schoonrewoerd
The company moves to Schoonrewoerd. Its trucks now drive to Germany, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and Romania, among others.
2015Move to Geldermalsen
Deij Transport moves to its current premises on De Iepenwei in Geldermalsen.
2025Takeover of Bakker's Italy transport
Deij Transport takes over the transport activities to Italy from Bakker Internationaal Koeltransport, including a large part of its fleet and staff. [TO BE CONFIRMED: fleet of 54 vehicles]
